§ 66-17. Terms and conditions of refunds of water, sewer and natural gas payments.

  • (a)

    Complaint notification. In accordance with sections 66-11(a)(3) and 66-13, and in addition thereto, any consumer who has a complaint regarding the amount of their bill for water, sewer, and or natural gas services, shall notify city hall of their complaint in person or in writing by the 20th day of the month in which said bill is due.

    (b)

    Refunds. In the event that the city determines there was an error in the consumer's water, sewer, and or natural gas bill, the consumer shall be entitled to a refund of any amount collected in excess of the consumer's actual bill due for services, provided that in no event shall the city be liable for in excess of the most recent two months of utility services provided and billed to the consumer.
