§ 66-2. Application for water service; security deposit.

The consumer shall make application for water and sewer service, in person, at city hall of the city. At the time of making the application, homeowners and those renting property shall make a cash security deposit in the amount of $150.00 for water services and $150.00 for gas service. All applications for utility service will include a Social Security Number of the applicant. The owner of property will be able to inquire about a renter/customer by calling and giving the account or name and be informed if the account is up to date or not. There will be no other personal information given out from the city hall on accounts.
