§ 34-58. Inner and outer management zones for new wells or springs.

For new wells or springs that are to be used as a source of water supply for public water systems, the following shall apply:
(1)

The city shall not issue any permit for the construction or the addition of a new well or spring until the supplier thereof has complied with the provisions of this division respecting a wellhead protection plan.

(2)

In addition to the wellhead protection plan, the supplier shall provide the city with the exact location, intended aquifer, projected depth, and expected production of the planned well or wells and spring or springs.
